Open Obedience (CDX) Problem Solving

This 2 hour seminar will address any handler or dog issues with
open obedience exercises.  Jumping, dumbbell work, retrieves, command
discrimination, drop on recall - the exercises will
depend on the participants.  
 Bring your concerns and improve your performance !

Star Puppy Plus
Ages 5 -9 months
​Make your pup the best family dog!  This class continues skill
development that you learned from a previous class or home
training.  Leash walking, stays, leave it, and other good behavior
are reinforced with distractions and outside training (weather dependent)
.
​Pups should know sit and down, and should have begun leash walking

Manners - This class is full!

For dogs 7 months and up 
Manners! Is your dog in need of some help? 
 We'll cover come when called, walking on leash and listening and
then we add distractions to increase your dog's ability to focus on you.
Working in a group situation makes your dog a better dog!

​
This class focuses on polite walking on leash (not formal heeling) and
while the majority of the class will be polite walking, stays, downs and
other behaviors will also be reviewed.

AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 
For dogs 7 months and up
We'll review and practice the 10 items on the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. 
This includes: Sitting politely for petting, Walking on a loose leash through a
crowd, as well as supervised separation among others.  There will also be an
option to take the CGC test  To learn more about the CGC

Out and About 
This class practices manners in public settings, such as
a mall, park or downtown area.
Dogs must have a CGC certificate or permission of the 
instructor to participate.

Manners Refresher - a 3 week class 
For ages 9 months and older

Does your teenage dog think he's all grown up and no longer needs to behave?
Does your older dog need a refresher?
This class requires that your dog know the sit and down commands and have
and have an understanding of stay.

The class focuses on issues that most dogs need - polite leashed walking,
manners around other dogs and people, and most of all listening to you!
Your specific questions will be addressed by the instructor.
This class is not for reactive dogs. 
Please email us if you have a reactive dog.

Really Reliable Recalls and Super Solid Stays  ​
​For Dogs 7 months and older
Does your dog come when called? Stay when you tell him to?
Sometimes? Often? Never? This class is for you! Games and
play will motivate and homework will help you continue to polish
your pup's performance at home!

 Puppy Manners 2   
For Pups 7 months or younger
Prerequisite Puppy Class or prior training


Take the skills you started learning with your puppy to the next level with Puppy 2.
In this 5 week class you can continue to strengthen the basic commands such
as come when called, stays, and leash manners.We will also focus on various
attention exercises to help you and your puppy as they approach adolescence.
This is all done in a positive environment that will allow you to build the best
possible relationship.Come and help your pup continue to learn to be a great
 family member and companion.  We can help you address any problem areas
and have fun doing it!

Novice Heeling Workshop This class is full!

This workshop is aimed at beginners and those just beyond.  It's a wonderful opportunity for Rally and Obedience students to workon their formal heeling.  There will be lots of floor time!
