Thank you for your interest in Piscataqua Obedience Club!
Piscataqua Obedience Club welcome new members who are interested in training their dogs and who want to contribute to the club. We are seeking people interested in participating in our dog events such as run throughs in various dog sports, seminars, stewarding; helping with cleaning , organizing, and the maintenance of our facilities; and assisting with other club business.
Expectations for members are that they will lend a hand in these and other activities, as they are able, throughout their membership.
Our annual dues are $20/year, paid when elected to membership. Due in January of each year
There are a few requirements to join POC, but we do try to be flexible. If you are unable to meet these requirements, please reach out to us for possible alternatives.
We ask that every new member attend one of our meetings to see how we are organized. In addition to the first meeting, 3 of the following need to be completed:
- Participate in a second (or more) meetings,
- complete one or more of our classes, either as a student or auditor (can be completed before submitting membership),
- Help with one or more of our group cleaning days or partner with a member to clean individually
- Participate in one or more of our events
